Premier Pool House — Attraction in Quezon City

The place looks great, highly-curated with an obvious Pinterest-IG-Home Buddies feel to it. Definitely one for the books. Upside: spacious, can accommodate up to 20 people. The kitchen and pool bar has dishwashing soap and sponge, with utensils and plates to help with meals. This was thoughtful. There were enough tables and chairs. Well-ventilated outdoor area. They've nailed design elements both indoors and out. Downside: for its price point, we're on the fence. Except for the pool, foosball, and air hockey table where people can play and have fun, the place itself isn't "fun". It almost feels like a church or a library, where you're supposed to exist quietly at all times. The house doesn't feel welcoming and inviting, the bedroom wasn't comfortable. It's too huge to be cooled by just one AC unit (there are 2 units but they only turned one on). Same for the loft area. There were too much rules and you get a sense of being watched closely. Can't eat inside so you'll have to section your activities, a quick stay here and there, and achieve no real comfort that feels like home. We're all for discipline and ethics, we're responsible citizens who take care of other places like it's our own, and we respect rules but this place completely misses the point of spending money to "kick back and relax". We were booked 9-5 but at 15mins before 5, they were rounding us up for room check. Do we recommend the place? To try once, maybe, for those who have money to burn. Are we going back? No. There are great hotels that go for way cheaper for better amenities, better service, and...
