If you’re looking for a relaxing and quick hike for the weekend, look no further than Tayak Hill. Located deep within Laguna, this hike is perfect for a refreshing day trip. The grassy slope is extremely easy to trek in, even for non-hikers. Various flowers are scattered by green grasslands you will pass through. Plus, the view up at the peak is highly rewarding in itself.
The peak is marked with a large white cross and a small wooden cross. It offers a nice view of the surrounding cities below like San Pablo. This, together with the various lakes snaking below and the perfect backdrop of nearby mountains, is enough to make hikers feel relaxed as they settle for a short rest at the top of the hill. The cool breeze provides a much-needed refresher, especially if you’ve been walking under the sun. Try to catch the sunset because it is truly magnificent to watch it go down from a height. The Rizal trail is the most popular and most accessible trail to date. The cemented path is well established, making the trek extremely straightforward. Follow the path and take a right on the one fork you will encounter near the top. Although there are other trails leading up the peak, it is not highly recommended. These are unofficial and yet to be established paths. Tayak Hill, with its natural beauty, only serves as a quick hike. Make sure to couple your trip with many side trips to maximize your time in the area. Hikers might want to continue on to Bunga Falls or some of the lakes surrounding the area. Another great option is to make this trek a side trip as you hike up taller mountains...

They just require you to have face shield which I think absurd within an open space, but should you still have it on your aide just in case. The top view is superb though I don't have a picture of it and just be careful on your way down because it is very steep...
