Aka “Cigarette Falls” due to its appearance from afar. Just looking at it after an hour of travel from Bacolod made your stress relieved. You’ll see its beauty from the view deck (or lantawan to locals) near the roadside. This is another favorite stopover for tourists especially who loves photo op. There are some vendors there selling chichiria like banana chips, taro chips, chicharon and cornik. Below the viewing deck is the entrance down to a long trek to the falls. You need to register and hire a guide to get there. The trek usually takes an hour. Sadly, we didn’t have much time to go there. Well, the stopover still worth it for us, first-timers.

I have finally had the chance to see up close this tallest, majestic, and most breathtaking waterfall, which I only pass by on trips to the northeast. The walking distance is 700 meters from the viewing deck, which will only take you 30 minutes to get there, but it still depends on your pace. It's not as difficult to climb up as it is to go down. Walking sticks, which are freely given to tourists by their guides, are very useful when climbing. The guide fee is 300php for a group of seven, and the entrance fee is 50php. A great experience for your core memory.

Very nice view from here. Pay environmental fee of 50 per person and get a guide to take you to the falls for a decent price. Bigger your group cheaper it works out per person. The Walk to the falls comprises of stairs, rough terrain, crossing 2 streams of water then you arrive at the falls. Best falls I've been to in Philippines. Nice cold water, amazing waterfall, lots of places to chill out and relax. Just make sure to take your trash with you. There's a small shop on the way selling fresh natural wild honey, snacks, drinks etc.

I bought some herbs and pine trees 🥰🥰 Each pot only costed 50pesos, which is expensive when I buy it in Aklan. Here... I bought a 7-colored bunga of sili, pinetree, even some herbs like different of types of mints, even rosemary and others. They have other plants and can-be-hardin in the house.

Aside, this peak gives a good view. I only had a few minutes here and it wasnt enough to have a long experience on the falls.

The air is cold at the tirik-araw noontime. The sun doesnt even hurt my skin at all at almost 11am and it wasnt windy as well, but swear...
