WORST RESORT IN SAMAL!!! We went there with my fam. Place was nice (of course Samal), but the staff were very stingy and overall unapproachable. The place is sooooo expensive 500 for a table for day tour (ps: table is small). When we arrived they wouldn't let us in because they required us to pay for day tour which is a hundred per head even though we already booked and paid online already, also they couldn't let us on our room till 2:00 p.m. mind you that we arrived earlier than expected in order to avoid traffic, we had to wait 5 long hours for our room. Then when a man approached us and said that we had to pay a they say "penalty" for our small butane gas.We were shocked when they charged us with our butane gas for 500, and when we expressed our concern to them they always tell us to call their admin, so when we called the admin we asked why would they charged so much for a butane that's not even theirs, he just say that, it's because we have a grilling station at the beach or we could order from their fancy resto bar (very expensive for mediocre food) plus the people working there are very rude. When we decided to cancel our stay we asked for a refund but their "policy" wouldn't allow it, not even a 50%, so we had no choice but stay, because we already paid full. When we were getting ready for check out, our personal shower had no water running, we had to line up to their common shower which also had little to no water. Also the parking was very hard, it was very steep and curved, the adjacent resort had a much more greater parking area. FOR ME I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT!!! -Beach was good. -Accommodation and staff not great at all. -Place is too expensive (there are many resorts at Samal that is better and are more affordable). ps: This review is based on our experience. I am not writing this review as a way to ruin your reputation but to give you awareness to do better...

The Overlooking Gazebo gave us a best view of the resort, and it was a peaceful and wonderful spot. We can really see the entire ocean, and we can feel the wind breeze. Inside the room was not that you're expecting, just don't expect too much.
There's this one of your staff who keep staring at us. He stares at us like it's his first time seeing a human being. Somewhat, makes our stay a little uncomfortable.
The customer service that I can say is poor. They forgot that we had dinner and breakfast. However, they admit their mistakes and make a resolution of the issue. I can't deny that all the staff are good and they take good care of us. They can still do better.
The dinner is absolutely delicious, and they serve more than what we can consume. The plating of the food was really appetizing. Especially the pork BBQ that was the most tasty and delicious that I have so far. And also, for the Ginisang Canton for my partner the serving was so many. It's so delicious, the noodles will just melt in my mouth.
The breakfast sort of disappoints me. The Beef tapa was lacking in flavor, I was expecting something. The serving of your breakfast was...
Read moreFirst impression was that if you're scared of driving up and down a very steep drive then give this place a miss. If you are older and have difficulty with movement and not the place for you as there are different levels to this hotel with many steps. This hotel is very basic, not well maintained, a bit dated in appearance and inside needs renovating. The facilities isn't that great with only two times BBQ stations to cook from and a floating cottage that you can rent from 150 pesos per person or 1500 all inclusive. There was a restaurant with tables before going onto the beach which had a cold fridge with drinks on offer and a few food selections on offer. Can't remember closing time, but around 7 pm I think. The beach was very beautiful, but with hard corals and stones at walking depth. Fine sands were found at a depth around 10 to 15 feet deep. There were water sports available at the beach at the different hotels or vendors. The summary of our stay was that we had a very relaxing and enjoyable family time at the beach, which outweighed the lack of facilities and...
