I feel this place is overrated as it's dated and needs some maintenance work.
Long drive.
Beds, although not aesthetically pretty with mattresses laid on top of pallets, were surprisingly comfy. BUT, bring your own blankets. They're very short of their own thin blankets.
No decent bathroom or toilets. Broken taps and veeery weak flow with walls and floors covered in limescales, and large tubs covered in limescales are filled with water to help flush the toilets. Toilet seats broken. Bring your own soap, shampoo, and toilet paper guys... If you do decide to come here.
There are a couple of Belgian puppies tied 24/7 at the bottom of this property. These breed need to be very active and require a lot of training throughout the day and should not be treated that way. Very disturbing. These are beautiful animals but they are not pets they're elite working dogs.
Clean beach but a much cheaper, accessible, and better-equipped Paradise Island is better.
The place is probably safe but it doesn't feel safe. There's a difference between the two.
The staff are friendly and helpful but initially, the guys looked a bit dodgy. One of the guys knocked on the glass door at 10pm and we were a bit apprehensive to open the door. He just asked whether we still wanted to use the pool as he wanted to treat it with chlorine. phew 😳
Property is accessible to anyone. Accessible through the the front back and side.
The shower by the pool is very weak and the pool and house already have lots of stains and cracks. Definitely needs some TLC.
With the amount of traveling and inconvenience, the least they could do is offer free wifi. However, wifi is only available through Piso Wifi. 10pesos per hour per device. It says you can pause it if you're not using it but it actually doesn't pause. It felt like being robbed while inside your home.
Recommend? Absolutely not. Sorry guys.
The wonders of lighting... It does look pretty on Instagram at night by the pool with creativity. That's it.
Good luck... Hope you don't get the power cut like we did 'coz it's hot and hard to sleep...

I booked Sunday Morning Beach House Samal as early as April for an event happening in late July. Everything was confirmed, and we were counting down to what was supposed to be a special and well-planned celebration. But just two weeks before the event, I received a message saying the property had been double booked and that our reservation could no longer be accommodated.
This is completely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of professionalism and responsibility. We were given no prior warning and now have to scramble for last-minute alternatives during peak season. It’s incredibly frustrating and disrespectful to those who plan ahead in good faith.
If you’re looking for a place to host something important do yourself a favour and book somewhere else. No matter how nice the property might look, the poor management and lack of accountability are not worth the risk. We were left stressed, disappointed, and out of options.
Avoid Sunday Morning Beach House Samal. You cannot trust them to honor...
Read moreOverall was very okey.. The house was massive and spacious, and the best thing was all you need inside the house for cooking and preparing food they already offer these stuffs inside. There's grilling area outside beside the house and it's too spacious even for 3 cooks.. the pool was clear and shallow not bad for children to swim, the beach was not crowded at all, you have your time to find peace in this place, good for family outing, gatherings, even parties. The only 3 things that I really can't appreciate was first the CR, very slow to flush , you need a pail of water to flush the toilet, second, this place was so far away to any convenience stores and pharmacies, thirdly was the vendo wifi, it's not working sometimes. If you want to visit this place bring all the stuffs you need most especially medicines...
