A GREAT BIRTHDAY RETREAT WITH MOTHER NATURE! Indeed, this pandemic cannot stop me from what I love to do, (i.e., travel). There was travel restriction around the country and I was so close on giving up my plan to travel and just spend my birthday inside my dorm. BUT, I am glad I found Igbulawan Farm on Facebook!! It was definitely a memorable experience. π I am grateful to Sir Val, his son and the rest of the team for a warm and genuine service. Actually, I was planning to go alone but I'm happy I invited my dear friend, Jastine. We arrived at around 5PM and Sir Val ushered us to our Sapiw. BTW, I love the Sapiw that he chose for us! Perfect for sunrise view. We took a lot of photos after settling down in our Sapiw and it was amazing to be on top of a mountain, feeling the cold breeze and watching the beautiful sunset. I definitely enjoyed the swing too!! The place and every moment was just so peaceful... just what I need! Dinner set-up would make you feel like it was a romantic dinner for two although we only had a fast food take-out! LOL Guess what?! There's no corkage for outside food and drinks! But they also serve food and drinks. After dinner, Sir Val and team prepared the bonfire with free beer!! His son took great pictures of us during dinner and at the bonfire as well. Love it! After that, we enjoyed the view of the stars from our Sapiw and we also tried watching netflix but we fell asleep. LOL Anyway, safety and security is guaranteed during our stay. The next day, we also had a really nice breakfast and their native coffee is a MUST TRY! Sir Val also showed us their so called "Secret Place" which is really cool!
Jastine and I enjoyed mother nature so much even just for an overnight only. Aside from the beauty of nature, what I really appreciate is the kindness of the people there especially Sir Val. He made sure that we are not just comfortable but at HOME too. You can see how passionate he is to preserve the place, help local vendors and we are also glad that he shared stories to us about nature, life and even love advices.
Igbulawan Farm, THANK YOU! You made my 2020 better!
For anybody who plans to visit, feel free to message...
