The Island Nature Spring has spacious garden in the middle of the two springs. Tall coconut trees grace the grassy landscape. There are plenty of parking on a large, uneven limestone lot. Cross over 2 small bridges and you’ll be right in the middle of the tropical oasis. We actually stay the night in one of their nipa hut; bahay kubo on top and cozy bungalow down below. Taking a quick dip in the inviting cold springs and we realized the bottom is uneven and some sections are very deep. The rock cover limestone silk will dirty your swim trunk or swim suits. Quick rinse with soap from one of their 4 Filipino styles bathhouse will rinse the dirt right out. Very beautiful and natural landscape can be found throughout the park. To some extend, we couldn’t tell the different which formations are natural and which are man-made. Bird can be heard singing everywhere in the park, and frog croaking at night will put you into primal pleasure. The nipa hut is p2000/night for 2, larger family can occupy larger nipa cabin near the end of the park. Inside the sleeping hut, it comes with small desk lamp, working fan, pillows, mattress and sheet. It’s strangely cold at night which resemble more of Baguio. We brought small extension cord to charge our phones as their strong WiFi can easily reach into our hut. WiFi is paid near the registration bar as no Globe will not reach this far. Their kitchen also serves basic silog meals and pulutant. But the host graciously offer tuna tinolang with rice and filtered water for our dinner which we gladly accepted. Our stay here was relax and pleasant with no loud karaoke distraction found elsewhere on the island. The staffs are extremely observant and tentative, which added to the comfort of our stay. This small slice of nature paradise will no doubt in our mind when we come...
Read moreOur stay at The Island Nature Spring was simply unforgetable! From the moment we made our reservation, it was clear that this place is well-managed. Whoever handles their Facebook page deserves a round of applause—everything was super simple and straightforward.
Check-in was a breeze, and the staff greeted us with warm smiles, making us feel right at home. The resort itself is a beautiful slice of paradise, so peaceful and visually stunning. We couldn’t get enough of the delicious food, and the coffee was a real treat to our morning! Their bangsilog was not your ordinary bangsilog; they used smoked boneless bangus, and it was amazing—the flavor was incredible so much that it could touch your soul with each bite.
While our cabin didn’t have a private toilet, the two clean shared toilets did the job. It would be nice to have a few more to avoid any congestion during busy times, but it wasn’t a major issue.
The long drive was absolutely worth it, especially when we met Michelle, the owner. She’s such a breath of fresh air! Her funny and welcoming personality truly adds to the charm of the resort.
Overall, we had an incredible time celebrating our 10th anniversary in such a beautiful setting. I would recommend The Island Nature Spring Resort to family and friends without hesitation. We can’t wait to...
