San Miguel River Park and Resort — Attraction in San Miguel

The property is about 1hr from Virac, the Capital of Catanduanes. You need to drive your own or rent a vehicle to go there as public transportation is rare. The sky was clear when we got there so we enjoyed the rustic view on the road and onsite. Guests have the option to swim in the mini pool. But why make tiis when the clean river is not more than 20 steps away? This is a good getaway place as network signal is weak so you will not be bothered by detractors 😁. Their food is also good. I recommend local should check this place. But I think it's not sulit ifyoure visiting from outside...

The river is a relaxing place especially if you were able to visit before night time. It is a great place for swimming. They also offer life vests for safety since there are deep areas and you might get carried by the current. They also offer activities such as kayak and tubing.

Cons: The place can get too crowded especially in the cottage area. The pool can be congested since most visitors want to swim in there.

The management and staffs are very disorganized, dishonest and rude including the lifeguards, it’s like their first time to cater a lot of people. Waited for the food for more than an hour and the food doesn’t taste good at all.
