This is our second visit to Mesinas Resort. At first, everything was okayâthe accommodations were decent and the staff were polite. But on our second time around, we were extremely disappointed by how rude the staff were. Itâs not just because the place was crowdedâwhether you admit it or not, this kind of experience shouldnât happen.
The cottage costs â±700 and can accommodate 10 people, while a table with four chairs is â±500. You can set up in a shaded area. There was a spot near a house with a terrace where we politely asked if we could plug something in. The owner said it was okay for us to stay nearby. Then a staff member came and told us to leave because it wasnât allowed. We explained that the owner had given us permission, but the staff insisted that it was not allowed and even said, âAlis na kayo jan!â What kind of customer would be happy with that kind of treatment?
We also saw a group who took a table without informing the staff. They simply placed their food on it so they could eat. All the cottages were already taken, and they only had a few chairs with themâsome of them even sat on the ground. What did your staff do? You took the table away from them, saying it was reserved, even though it clearly wasnât. You even hid the remaining chairs inside the house so no one could use them.
Never again will we go back to a resort like this. We paid properly but received poor service, and your staff were downright rude.
Also, the water in the restroom came from running water...

We rented a AC room worth Php1500 for overnight stay and it is a bit pricey because the room is kinda small and doesn't has its own Restroom inside. All of the guest are only using a common restroom with a cubicles that has broken door locks which is so uncomfortable when you are ppoooping. There is no water inside each cubicle and every guest needs to fetch a water on their faucet. They are not also giving some Basic toiletries, even the hot water for our coffee and noodles is not for free.
The water on the pool is clean and clear since it is a running water coming from the stream.
This resort is also accommodating too much people inside their resort that why the pool area is so over crowded. Safety and Health protocol is not being followed. Even their staffs are not following. People on the area will be lessen when groups who avails day tour go home.
Karaoke is non -stop 24hrs, drunk people is shouting on their microphone. that's why we don't get the best sleep we need during our rest.
We will never go back here again. On our next visit we will rather stay on the hotel near at Dolores Municipal hall which is only P900 which satisfy our stay and enjoy the other resort around the area which you will only pay for 60pesos to...
Read moreWe recently visited Mesinas Vanessa Resort, and while the place has some good points, our experience was far from enjoyable.
â Pros:
The water is refreshingly cold, which is great for a hot day.
The cottages and overall facilities are just averageânothing special, but they get the job done.
Affordable pricing, which might attract budget-conscious visitors.
â Cons:
Extremely rude management. Instead of addressing concerns properly, they were dismissive and even told us, "What if the tables were turned and you were the management?"âwhich is just unprofessional.
They also made it clear that we werenât the only customers, as if that justified poor service. Every guest deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of how many...
