Bagumbungan Cave is comparable to Sumaguing Cave in Sagada. The experience was so much fun, one of a kind, and the view was scenic and so amazing. Expect to get wet and prepare to do some acrobatic stunts. The cave is very much protected and well maintained. We were lucky to see shrimps, owl, snake, and of course, bats. The explored part of the cave is 1.9km long, there are parts of it still undiscovered. Bring only the essentials like water as much as possible and waterproof phone or camera if you have any. Fee as of Feb 2019 is PHP300/head. Please do give some tip to the local tour guides. 😘

It would have been our most adventurous cave experience however the cave is temporarily close due to an unidentified risk of collapse from the ceiling of the 1st chamber. According to MGB, PCAT and DENR PENRO Marinduque the cave will be open again to the Public once a safe entrance in another chamber is established.

The tour is managed by a DENR and DOT-accredited local group. Very organized and systematic. Miss Virgie is very helpful and can fluently speak in English, which is good if you're coming with foreigners. If you're going here, get the after-tour meal package too.

This cave is great for thrill-seekers who have 3-4 hours to spare. This 1.9-km cave terrain is perfect for beginners in spelunking (but I, who have been to many caves, would say I got really challenged by its difficulty). Children above 8 y/o must be accompanied by a personal guide (double the usual rate). Awesome...
