We arrived here around 6 a.m., and within just 15 minutes, the sandbar was already packed with tourists. I recommend leaving the port in Sta. Cruz before the sun rises. Be sure to check the weather and tide before planning your trip. The best time to visit is on a weekday to avoid crowds. The water was incredibly clear, and with the rising sun, it offered a truly breathtaking view. If you have a drone, you'll have a bonus experience capturing spectacular footage here.

Sandbar is not that nice compare before due to recent typhoon but the residents told me that it will soon go back to previous shape. Best time to go here weekdays. A lot of people when we came here. This place is so nice. Relax and enjoy the view. You must rent a boat to see this place including other islands in Sta Cruz Marinduque. We rent the small boat for Php1,500 day trip of island hopping. No meals included but there are restaurants in Maniwaya for lunch.

This place is truly amazing it's not so crowded unlike other tourist destination we drove 5 hours from manila just to get here in maniwaya island it's all worth it a bluest water I've ever seen people are very nice here for accommodation you can even rent a tent and chill at the beach at low cost you really feel the island vibe and disconnect from busy and crowded city
