Really disappointed in this place. While the falls were stunning, the admin process and the way to get there is atrocious and this should be closed down IMMEDIATELY. There is no track to guide you. You are essentially walking on mud and poo of various farm animal for 4-5hours. It is mandatory for the company to provide a tour guide which you MUST pay 600 pesos. However the tour guide seems to have a different definition to what everyone ele has. Regularly walks off by himself. Does not explain anything either in english or Tagalog. Routinely isles by and doesnt care as each of our travelling party of 3 routinely fell into knee deep mud, essentially rendering our shoes and socks irrepairable. Personally I found the local stray dog better at directing us than the delinquent "Rocky" as he calls himself. Close the track and build a proper path like the rest of the planet has managed to do. Wasted a full day and lost my prescious shoes....
Read moreWent here last Saturday, Oct 14, together with relatives. I’m rating this location as 2 stars only, because of my slightly unpleasant experience. They do have this so-called ‘Taxi’ where you will ride a horse going back down. Since it’s raining, most of us chose this but unluckily for me, the horse I rode was not that strong and seem weak. I fell off from the horse twice as we took the slippery trail (yes, there are other trail), had minor bruises and my body was all in pain after. ☹ I forgot to ask the name of the Manong who owned it. It seems that they only want to earn money but they’re not taking care of these horses properly. Ending was, I walked almost all the time and Manong was just assisting me. I still paid the amount agreed. Nevertheless, the mountain and falls are nice, I would like to return and experience Buruwisan again but not on rainy season!...
