Buruwisan Falls is a great place to spend a day of leisure and being one with nature. Getting to Buruwisan Falls is a 2-3 hours hike through vast greenery of Mt. Romelo. The hike was easy, though a bit muddy, but not too slippery when we went, and the beautiful weather makes up for it, plus the accommodating and friendly guides. Perched on top of Buruwisan Falls is the camp site where you can stay, eat, and rest, or have a quick dip on the river that leads to the falls. Down the falls itself will leave you in awe as you have a front seat view of the magnificent falls that you can also swim on, its not even that crowded which gives us more time to admire the beauty surrounding us. Highly recommended for a quick escape to the busy life in the city.

This waterfalls is situated in my Hometown of Siniloan, Laguna. It is located in Mt. Romelo or Mt. Kapaynutan. Buruwisan Falls is one of the numerous waterfalls around Mt. Romelo. Buruwisan is also my favorite waterfalls, you will truly be amazed of this waterfalls. It is advisable to go here from July to Feb in order to witness the falls splendor.. beware that the trail gets muddy during rainy season that adds to the challenge of scaling this mountain. 2-3hrs hike, Tour guide is required for visitors non local to Siniloan.

One of the most beautiful falls I saw so far. The hike is chill especially if it didn't rain, they say it gets so muddy and turns this hike into a major one. Swimming in this fresh cold water is so refreshing. The whole area of Fami is great for nature lovers and people who want a chill hike.

Really disappointed in this place. While the falls were stunning, the admin process and the way to get there is atrocious and this should be closed down IMMEDIATELY. There is no track to guide you. You are essentially walking on mud and poo of various farm animal for 4-5hours. It is mandatory for the company to provide a tour guide which you MUST pay 600 pesos. However the tour guide seems to have a different definition to what everyone ele has. Regularly walks off by himself. Does not explain anything either in english or Tagalog. Routinely isles by and doesnt care as each of our travelling party of 3 routinely fell into knee deep mud, essentially rendering our shoes and socks irrepairable. Personally I found the local stray dog better at directing us than the delinquent "Rocky" as he calls himself. Close the track and build a proper path like the rest of the planet has managed to do. Wasted a full day and lost my prescious shoes....

Went here last Saturday, Oct 14, together with relatives. I’m rating this location as 2 stars only, because of my slightly unpleasant experience. They do have this so-called ‘Taxi’ where you will ride a horse going back down. Since it’s raining, most of us chose this but unluckily for me, the horse I rode was not that strong and seem weak. I fell off from the horse twice as we took the slippery trail (yes, there are other trail), had minor bruises and my body was all in pain after. ☹ I forgot to ask the name of the Manong who owned it. It seems that they only want to earn money but they’re not taking care of these horses properly. Ending was, I walked almost all the time and Manong was just assisting me. I still paid the amount agreed. Nevertheless, the mountain and falls are nice, I would like to return and experience Buruwisan again but not on rainy season!...

My first time to climb...i never finished any running marathon I joined so far but this one i finished with pride. The trail to the summit was short. The best and worst part are the falls and the way that leads to them..I am glad to be alive after that experience 😂😂..i am 159.5 pounds 5'2 so overweight and is not physically active but I made it through..life changing experience..and I have strengthened bonds with my friends. Trully teamwork and patience helped me through it..akyat na! Wag lang daw tagulan kasi madulas tlga...buy yourself a nice traditional trekking shoe or sandals. Climb with only a light i mean really light load. Organic toiletries only please..for beginners like me do not forget to bring along candy and water...bandage in case matapilok..bandana..expect the unexpected in Romelo..happy...
