The beach is very beautiful. I liked the view. Each cottage has it's own dirty kitchen where you can grill or cook your own food. The cottages are big. I think it has a seating capacity of 10-15 people. It has 2nd floor (loft style) where you can sleep (5 people can fit). The only thing that's missing there is that there is no market/sea food market where we can buy food. Nonetheless, it's cheap and you can even bring your pets which is a plus for me. There's also comfort rooms and the water is free. There is also electricity at night (generator). You can also bring your own tent/s. The cottages have their own garbage cans (biodegradable and non-biodegradable) to keep the beach clean. The locals are very hospitable. To end this review I would like to say that it's very worth it to visit this island. It's very relaxing, healing, cheap, and very beautiful with crystal-blue waters with a lot of fishes and sea creatures you can see...
Read moreA nice island to spend your weekend getaway. The island is not yet commercialized so dont expect the things you need were there. You need to bring your own food however residents there offer you to cook for a price. The cottage we rent cost 300 php which I think is cheap. The boat fare is 1000 php, a door to door arrangement meaning the boat will pick us up at the resort we stayed at main land and drove us to island then dropped us then you will be the one to set what time you want to be picked up, in our case we choose 2pm then they will drove you back to the resort were you stay. I suggest you go to the island early in the morning so you could go home before lunch since the current is quite disturbing after lunch, the sea might look serene but once your on your trip you can feel the current. Over all,it is a good place, very clean sea and nice place to visit if you want to escape the...
Read moreThe beach is amazingly clear. There are a few dives spots on the beach and it was fun to jump.
I jumped A few times when it was low tide and hit the floor. No injuries but decided to stop and didn't want to risk it further. Im sure there wouldn't be any problem any time but low tide and im kinda heavy but slim. Not much resistance so i go real deep.
The back part of the island is home to a diverse amount of sea life. I saw a school of small sharks pass me by as i was snorkling.
San pablo is now my favorite go to place for beach. Its just so amazing.
The island doesn't have power or tap water. They get the supplies from the mainland. So ice and drinks are a bit expensive here. Some resorts here have their own gen sets. Its inhabited so it is safer than most islands as well. Locals are very friendly and i felt safe walking there late at night with almost...
