Genalin Park & Zoo Rescue Center — Attraction in Sultan Kudarat

The place is so easy to locate ofcourse with the use of google map. It is accessible and can be reach via public utility vehicle. Also near to bus stations/terminals. We went there together with my 9 and 3 y.old babies, their aunt, and their grandmothers. In any age, they all enjoy the view. So i can recommend this especially to those who are never been exposed to zoo. The place offers variety of animals and it is more fun to see it clearly and closely. My younger child always remember the exact image of what he saw before, and he can perfectly demonstrate an animal picture during his school activity because of what he experienced there. Also, when we reach the place, they offer friendly and more knowledgable tour guide that helps us to enjoy the place while learning. And i requested something out of their duty, for my own son to feel better, and the staffs willingly help me achieve the comfortable journey with the whole family. So thumbs up for that Because they really offer an excellent service. Overall, 5 star to rate. Also, they offer an animal presentations or show that will lead you to smile and appreciate the interrelationship of human towards animals and vice versa. So Come now and enjoy too...

This is the 2nd time to visit the zoo. There were just a few guests, considering that it's a Sunday. I noticed that the enthusiasm of the staff to welcome guests has waned. The reception area was not as exciting as I remember during my first visit. There were employees at the area but they did not even greet us as we arrived. Going around, I was happy to see that they have maintained the animals and have added more attractions. However, I noticed that the surroundings were not that well-maintained. Some of the cages, especially in the birds area do not have informations about the species. The souvenir shops do not have much to offer. We wanted to enter one of the shops but it was closed. The audio recording that welcomed guests during my first visit were not played. It had a nice impact before as the recording added to the excitement ala Jurassic Park. The zoo was wonderful, with an array of interactive exhibits and activities that any animal enthusiast would enjoy. When we visited, the food and accomodations were good, the show was worthwhile, and the staff were competent.

Our concerns have to include the maintenance of some of the facilities. The doors of some of the comfort rooms couldn't be closed, and a few of the animal exhibits and paths needed overdue cleaning.

But we enjoyed the zoo so much. Overall, the experience and the awe of seeing these beautiful animals in person are worth every penny. Also, by visiting, we are supporting the conservation efforts of our countrymen, which is definitely a noble cause. Looking forward to...
