My family and I recently experienced unsatisfactory service at Marguez Hot & Cold Spring during a Sunday outing. Our relaxing family time was disrupted by an employee, Cyril, whose disrespectful behavior caused significant distress. Despite having reserved a cottage, we requested additional seating near the pool for lunch due to the heat. Cyril repeatedly and rudely demanded we vacate the cottage, even after we assured him we would do so after finishing our meal. His dismissive and condescending tone, culminating in the phrase "how many times did I tell you," was unacceptable. Furthermore, he disregarded my attempts to address the situation calmly, turning his back and speaking over me. He then improperly questioned whether we had paid for the additional seating, despite having paid for all services upon arrival, including cottage rental and extra chairs.

Upon departing the resort, we formally addressed the management concerning an employee's demonstrably disrespectful behavior. Subsequently, a colleague apologized on the employee's behalf, attributing the incident to intoxication and requesting we disregard the matter saying "pasensyahi nalang ma'am kay naka inom". However, to our understanding, such conduct is unacceptable while on duty.

The place looks great, and the springs were relaxing. The staff were also really nice. The fees are very affordable.

It was really crowded though. VERY crowded. And my colleagues were slipping occasionally in mud. If planning on going there, try to be early. I suggest you bring picnic blankets- the cottages get taken fast and the rest often have to sit and find shade on the field.
