Not so well known tourist destination. When I visited there last 04/13/18 they are still developing the area, progress os obviously slow. The stairway going down is broken and not well maintained, you need to find an alternative route so you can get closer to the falls, this includes taking a steep trek down.
There is always a risk in getting closer to the falls boulders are everywhere and path is dangerous.
Plastics trash are everywhere, vandals are seen. There is still a need to improve this...
