I recently visited People’s Park in the Sky in Tagaytay, and it was an unforgettable experience! Despite the foggy weather, which obscured much of the famed panoramic views, the park still offered a unique charm and atmosphere. Even with the limited visibility, the park's elevated location provided a cool and refreshing climate, a welcome escape from the heat of the lowlands. The misty surroundings added a mystical touch to the landscape, making the visit feel like a journey through the clouds.I explored the unfinished mansion at the park's center, which adds a layer of historical intrigue to the visit. The structure, originally intended to be a presidential mansion, now serves as a reminder of the Philippines' rich history and the stories of its past. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the tranquil ambiance and the sense of being above it all. The park’s gardens, amphitheater, and chapel offered peaceful spots to relax and reflect. Even though the views of Taal Lake and the surrounding provinces were hidden by the fog, the serene environment made the trip worthwhile. I went as part of a tour, which made the experience even more enjoyable and convenient. The winding road up to the park was an adventure in itself, adding to the overall excitement.Despite the weather, I highly recommend a visit to People’s Park in the Sky. Its unique blend of history, natural beauty, and cool climate makes it a must-visit destination in Tagaytay. Whether you catch a clear day or a foggy one, the park has a special charm that is sure to leave a lasting impression. Loved it!

Food. Fog. Fun. Summary of this review. If it weren't for a quick Google search, I wouldn't have found this gem in Tagaytay. This was probably the farthest I've went on my own. And boy was it worth it. Access is from Olivarez Plaza again. Get a jeep that goes to People's Park. I think the fare was about 16 pesos if I recall correctly. The top had the usual local gift shops for "pasalubong". Entrance was 30 pesos. You could walk to the top upon getting off the jeep. There's also a guy that rents out another jeep to the top. No idea how much though as I thought it ruins the experience if I rode one and missed the trail. Fog was present at the top. They even had a spot where you could have your photo taken with a parrot and a crocodile (or alligator not sure ahaha, pic for reference). They also had a restaurant there on the upper deck. Didn't try it since I already ate breakfast prior to coming there. You'll find lots of hats in the gift shops. There's also a stall that does temporary tattoos or Henna tattoo. Will visit again. Bring a jacket. Cold up there. Going back down, there's a jeep that takes you to a landing and from there you can take another jeep back to Olivarez Plaza.

January 15, 2021 I think this is the highest place in Tagaytay Schedule: 7am to 5pm Monday to Sunday Entrance fee - P30 (kids & adults) Parking fee (just near the entrance) -P20 pesos ( for motorcycles, may differ if cars) Requirements: Faceshield Facemask There is a comfort room, inside the peoples park (one on top of the place, fee is 10 for females and males.) Outside on the nearest food store (fee is 10 pesos) Upon entering, you will pay 30 pesos and youll be given a ticket, afterwards youll proceed just right next to the entrance to fill up a health monitoring form. (on the white tent, see the pictures) After filling up, youll be asked if you want to ride a jeepney to reach the top of peoples park (certains fees will apply, im not sure if its free) or (the best thing) walk from the entrance to the top, a little bit of cardio but best for enjoying the view. Place is still the same as before, some parts where painted and the vandalism in the pineapple and most parts are gone. Souvenir shop is up and some stores are around, selling food and snacks. Great place for family bonding, sight seeing and enjoying the cold weather of Tagaytay.

We went here on November 5, 2023. It was a beautiful and sunny day. There are plenty of views of distant cities and vistas all around. It is a great place to hike. It is about 2 bends with a substantial incline. It might be a mix of heat and cold throughout the incline, so dress accordingly! I suggest a light jacket you can easily zip up or take off. There are a couple of Jeepneys at both the top and bottom who will transport you and your group if you feel like you are too tired to go up or down the road. They do have a bathroom near the top, but it is pay per use, so be aware of that. There are also spots near the top that are also paid, meaning if you wanted to sit down in one of the labeled booths, you must pay to relax or to sit and enjoy the view from that spot. A couple of souvenir shops are near the top with negotiable prices. If you want to eat at a couple of shops and little restaurants, there's plenty before you enter the park near the bottom. Overall, it is beautiful, and it is definitely worth the visit whether you're here as a tourist (like myself) to go sightseeing or to go on a short hike with a very rewarding view!

While People's Park in the Sky offers breathtaking views, my preference for more interactive experiences made it less appealing. The limited activities, coupled with the crowd and potential seat restrictions, posed a slight inconvenience. I'd recommend it as a quick visit for capturing picturesque moments, but for those seeking more engaging attractions, it might not be the ideal destination. The scenic beauty, however, makes it a worthwhile spot for a brief stop and photo opportunities. •Scenic Views: People's Park in the Sky provides stunning panoramic views. •Limited Activities: The lack of interactive activities might not appeal to those seeking more engagement. •Crowded Atmosphere: The number of visitors and potential seat restrictions can be a hassle. •Quick Visit Suggestion: Recommend it as a brief stop for capturing picturesque moments or taking photos. •Ideal for Photography: The scenic beauty makes it a worthwhile spot for those looking for photo opportunities.
