Entrance is free. But disappointing because of there illogical rules. They could have made a proper regulations. I am disappointed since I was not able to enter the park because they won't allow us to bring our Golden Retriever even if we told them that our dog is well behaved and if he poop we will pick it up and throw to it to the bin, we even showed our dog poop bag. However, as my French partner and our Australian visitor enter the park they saw a few stray dogs roaming around and barking around the park. I even saw it with my own eye stray dogs can freely enter. They event went back to the entrance to talk to the park incharge to let our dog and explain them that our Golden will not mess around. But they refused and that is what makes it frustrating. It is unfair for a responsible dog owner like me. If I am irrational, I should have unleash my dog so he can roam around the park like the stray dogs who can freely enter and I can walk around the park too.
I will give the park two stars since my foreign partner (French) and our foreigner friend from Australia said the park is nice and this the 1st time they've seen a public botanical park in Davao province which is well maintained. They did not explore much becausr it is about to rain and they do not want me and my dog do nothing outside the park and...
Read moreVery nice place to unwind, time spent here is never a waste. I can feel that nature is also my medicine. Don't have Wi-Fi or internet in the place but still have a good connection to nature. Having here for more than two hours is our pleasure because me and my sister finished the famous 1000+ steps... You can bring foods and drinks inside the park if you want since, don't have any food vendor inside. Picnic with families and friends is also nice here. The place has a good restrooms and many garbage bin and I appreciated. Thank you local government of Tagum City for taking care of this place for everybody and no amount fees collected while spending your moment with nature around....
Read moreBest for Jogging/walking because of its famous "1000+ steps" that loop around the whole park. Based on the source I've read (Tagum City Tourism), It's estimated to have 37,000 Local and Imported Plants that are planted there and a land area of 31 hectares. They also have benches, tables, and bungalows where you can chill. It's nice that Tagum City LGU invested in this kind of park, It will surely help to further improve the mental health of their people which would also lead to the growth of...
