Great view and great weather! Npka lamig! And if you're someone whos into rain, foggy, cold type of weather then this is the place for you! During the day its sunny until late afternoon, so far in our back n forth travel in Talakag it mostly rains in the late afternoon to evening so be prepared with that! The good thing about it is you will get to experience a very cold foggy night if theres rain!
Food in their resto is ok. Quantity being served and the price is reasonable. Drinks might be a lil bit pricey but again still reasonable since tourist spot sila.
For their A-houses would say NOT GOOD‼️👎 good for 2 is priced at 1.5k and NO OWN CR pa yan ha! good for 4 is at 3.5k has own CR - very pricey since the teepee houses are SO SMALL! you only have limited space inside and wait till you see the bathroom of the teepee house! Jusko napaka liit! Its like they just made a very small room para mailagay lang ang toilet so imagine this - while taking shower! You are only centimeters away from the toilet! Expect splashes of water from the toilet!
They have a common toilet and bath! DIRTY‼️not well maintained! It would have been better na separated sana ang toilet for their daytime customers and separate dn sana sa mga mismong guests talaga na naka check-in! BUT NO! Its a toilet n bath for everybody!
Staff are kind and considerate! ❤️ They will really try to accomodate the needs of their guests every now n then! + they have a really friendly dog in here! During the night when we took a stroll in their area the friendly dog works as one of their...
Read moreThis is a poorly designed, instagrammable, pitstop/cafe/restaurant. It's very crampy considering the number of people who dropped by last Feb 9( Sunday).
As a hotel/inn/campsite, the tipi rooms are just good from the outside. Inside, it's very, very tiny. They said 4pax could fit in the room we reserved (tipi 5), but in reality, you could fit double-sided mattresses w space in the middle barely enough for walking. Meanwhile, the mattresses are beside the angled walls of the tipi hut (A frame). If you're claustrophobic, you wouldn't want to be inside this room.
CRs: only in tipi 5 and 4 are there CRs, but even though, it is very cramped. I never used our CR because everything will get wet. There are 3 public CRs - 2 toilets and 1 bath. None of the smaller tipis have CRs. THERE IS NO WATER HEATER IN THE ENTIRE PLACE.
The biggest house fits 16 (daw). But from the looks of it, it is cramped up for 16pax. It has its own CR, but still very small. Btw, this house is also ONE BIG PHOTOBOMBER on the "360" view of the Kitanglad-Dulang-dulang range. Btw, it was never a 360 view. The name Lantao 360 is a lie.
The restaurant staff were very considerate since we came back to the place past 6pm everyday and yet the kitchen's last call is at 530pm. They serve 730am breakfast.
If it's any consolation, if you plan to pitch a tent atop their hill, it might be a good plan.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place unless...
Read moreit's quite far from CDO, but once you get there, you'll immediately think of coming back. it's colder than Dahilayan and Claveria, food is reasonably priced and Pets are allowed! the beds are comfy (we got a teepee w/ toilet & bath) and a Kubo (no toilet & bath) the common toilets are accessible, just beside the resto. there's no hot shower though. so you'll definitely freeze if you're not used to cold water. btw, the toilet in the teepee is really small, you'd have to sit in the toilet when you shower. not much of a big deal anyway. we brought snacks & water heater in our teepee since the resto closes at 9. best to take pics during sunrise & sunset. look out for strong winds that might knock...
