This place will literally give you the peace of mind. No electricity and away from the busy streets of the city. This public place will help people to recuperate from streets, all you will hear will be the calm and sometimes raging waves of the sea. My friends and I visited this place out of nowhere. For a minimum pay, we already reached a soul searching-place-to-be. A very simple hidden gem of Cavite. This place is just 2 hour and 30 minutes (depends on traffic) away from the city. We rode a bus from Baclaran to Ternate then a tricycle from Ternate terminal. The drivers are all nice, they will accommodate you well and suggest where to buy goods for your stay. Each of us paid 200 pesos back and forth for the ride, when we reach the drop-off area, we started our 20 to 30 minutes trek down to the shore. While walking and getting near the shore we are getting more excited because we are hearing the waves kissing the shore. And when we saw the place, voila! If you're looking for a good, simple and place I truly suggest you people to visit this place.

Caynipa Cove is a hidden beachfront paradise in Ternate, Cavite just a 45‑minute boat ride or a scenic hike from the mainland. With soft gray sand, tranquil clear waters, and dramatic rock formations on either end of the cove, it’s perfect for swimming, bonfires, and peaceful escapes. Facilities are minimal but charming: you can camp in nipa huts or bring your own tent, rent cottages, and even have your meals cooked by Aling Toyeng, who truly makes your stay feel like family. The setting is safe, uncrowded, and ideal for a quiet retreat great for bonding moments, like when my Lola Toyeng smiles under the stars. Highly recommended for travellers craving simplicity, serenity & heartfelt hospitality.

The sand at Caynipa Cove Beach is not pure white, but also not too dark, offering a natural and inviting setting. The view is truly beautiful, providing a relaxing and scenic atmosphere. Guests have the option to bring their own tents or rent a cottage for convenience. Basic amenities such as a poso (manual water pump), toilets, and a kitchen are available for use, making it a practical choice for both day trips and overnight stays. Overall, my experience at Caynipa Cove Beach was very good. I would recommend it to those looking for a peaceful and affordable beach getaway.

This place is best for people who want to get some sea with a twist of trekking. Before you get to the beach, you would need to trek down through lushes of trees. The trek going there was manageable. It's going to be rough if your backpacking is heavy, so it's recommended you get a porter to carry your stuff. In our case, we hired two porters and paid them 300 pesos each because we had a lot of heavy stuff. It was only for one way. Upon reaching the beach, it was almost 4 in the afternoon. The wind was a bit strong but I loved it. There were cottages and we took one for 1,000 good through the night until we checked out the following day. There were no amenities, no good restroom and washroom, so don't expect something like in the hotel. There were no restaurants too. We put up our tent and enjoyed through our trip. The water was okay. When we got there, we were greeted by some guests gathering on the shore. It was my first time to see a jelly fish and it was really huge. I'd say about 5 kilos. There were some small jelly fish too they say they usually come out when it's too hot hot usually in the afternoon. So we enjoyed our swimming in the morning until 12 noon. The sand was fine and it was not rocky. I had fun. Then we had to climb up back to highway where our van was waiting. We took our backpack and really it was so exhausting. It was so intense that I thought one of my friends couldn't make it. If you are more on adventure and a trekking kind of traveler,...
