A bit disappointed. We rode 3 hours out to the park from Manila is hopes of doing some nice hiking only to learn the park is only open Saturday and Sunday. We did do research beforehand, never uncovered this detail. Continued driving through the tunnel and to Patungan. Tried to turn onto a road towards the public beach showing on Google. We were met by locals telling us it was private property, also signs saying "no tourism". We would have driven somewhere else had we known all this in advance. Hope my review saves someone else from making the same mistakes. Not mad. The ride itself was worth it. Just wanted to stretch our legs for a bit before enduring the 3 hour trip back...

This is this is the first mountain I hiked wayback 2003 when I joined the UE Mountainneers. This is a perfect spot to hold basic mountaineering course since it has waterfalls, a large campsite, and different kinds of trails, though usually trails are only gradual. But going to the summit is quite a challenge especially for newbies. As of now, it is closed for rehabilitation. The old trail where we used to pass is now permanently closed for hikers due to some issues. The new trail can be found inside...

Mount Palay-Palay mountain range Park is one of my regular (lately, about every other month) cycling rides out of the city. Specifically, we like to head out west (from Paranaque) via Bacoor, Tanza, Naic, Maragondon, Ternate, then the steep climb past Puerto Azul and carry onwards thru the winding roads that go through KAYBIANG tunnel. Thoroughly satisfying all-day ride, usually on a...

Beautiful scenery through out, monkeys if you can spot em. Excellent drive through the entire park.. coffee shops in the area. Golf couse on one end, with resorts near by...subic cay...has a nice deck for drinks and food on the water but the rooms need improvement...nice beach if they cleaned it more..

It's still closed as of December 27, 2020 at 8 AM. I'm not sure if there is an official announcements regarding reopening of the hike. It was raining and the area is foggy but feel the love of nature. The photos are taken outside the camp.

Solid experience, but definitely not for beginners. The trail from Station 8 to the peak felt like a combination of Stations 1 to 7. Still worth it for first-timers.
