Ugu is a very gracious host, and lucky you if you visit when there's not too much of a crowd because he would be able to sit with you and share stories of how he came to be a master potter. No he wouldn't call himself a master, but just a potter. We had a chance to chika with him on a Sunday morning, and it was such an inspiring sharing.
Lunch food here is amazing. During our last visit it was Php900 per head, but it was very much worth it. Ugu himself prepares the food ha!

   Read moreWe came for lunch and the pottery. We were welcomed by beautiful plants. As we entered, the place revealed a huge old tree at the center of the yard. Around it are various huts, an old house, and several other buildings.
Decades-old plants abound. Strewn all over are ceramic and pots and wooden furniture. The place is very relaxing.
At lunch, we had a nine-course meal good for 10 priced at P1100.00/hd. Buko juice came with the food. Everything tasted good and fresh. But what stood out for me was their guinomis. It was the best I've tasted ever.

Unfortunately, on the day we visited, they were hosting a wedding party so they couldn't accommodate us for lunch. That said, we were told they would only cater to a group of 10 or more and you had to book in advance.
