My summer was wonderfully spent at Poctoy White Beach in Marinduque. The experiences were truly remarkable, and the people were incredibly welcoming, especially during the Lenten season when the Morions, with their intricate and detailed costumes, paraded along the beach, adding to the unique experience. The water was a beautiful turquoise color, and the white sand was pleasant. However, I believe there is room for improvement regarding the cottages, as they are currently just tents that are not aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, the bathrooms are limited in number, often lacking water and lights, and are insufficient to accommodate the number of tourists. Furthermore, the lack of waste segregation raises concerns about sustainable tourism practices.

Overall, the beach presents both positive and negative aspects. I sincerely hope that these observations will reach the management and the municipal government so that they may take...

I used to love the place, but recently they increased the entrance fee to ₱75 and other fees and charges as well, yet the beach experience has deteriorated. The beach itself is becoming dirtier; you can literally see garbage lying around in the sand. The sea has lots of weeds—more weeds than sand in the swimming area. If you are lucky, you might step on some young sea urchins, too. The shower area near the beach is bad; only one of the three showers is usable due to low water pressure. The experience has become horrible, but the fees keep increasing....

This is a public beach, the entrance fee is collected by the municipality of Terrijos is P50 per person. There are cottages for rent as well but we opt to rest under the shade of the trees. There are a few stores beside the beach where you can order food and drinks.

According to the municipal employee who collected our fee the place gets full during holy week. There were at least 14,000 people at this beach last holy week.

During our visit it was so peaceful and quiet with just a few people and we get to really enjoy...

The beach is made of broken corals that turned into sand, it also has some seaweeds on some areas. Other old beach resorts are already closed. There are foods stalls in the area shower area and CRs . Cottage(cemented) rates are 300 while the room rates is 2500, entrance is 50 per head. You can also rent a jetski and kayak in the area. if you are comming from torrijos there is also a tricycle TODA arround the market, fare just cost 20/head. you can also make arrangement with the tric. driver to pick you at a specific time

It was raining the day we arrived here, but still the place was good, the beach area was clean and there were some lifeguards hanging around, The entrance fee was 50 pesos per person, and they had a shower and toilet area that was also clean. We will be back here on a good day! Edit: We went back on a good weather 🥰 and we like it more, ❤️ we drive from Cawit to Torrijos with our Motorbike so it was a bit long drive almost 2hrs. Worth the long drive, watching the beautiful view of Marinduque 🥰
