Located in Uyugan, the National Museum Batanes was formerly a Loran. When it was decomissioned it was turned over to the Philippines. It was turned over to the LGU of Uyugan and Uyugan transferred it to the National Museum with the intent of.converting it to a Museum.

This is the place in Batanes that I want to be alone and learn the history of Batanes. This place is just like the beautiful coastal view and it also has a good view outside but the artifacts made me what to go back and appreciate the history of Batanes. One of the activities for south batan tour. You'll learn a lot about the history of Batanes but kinda sad that most credits goes to foreign people instead of Ivatans. The place is well maintained and our guide also served as a guide inside the museum. It would be nice if they have an...
