Quite frankly, besides scaling the lighthouse that placed Tiera Alta on the map, there is really not much to do here. The entrance fee feels like a huge cash grab especially when they are operating a cafe/restaurant inside and the ticket is non-consumable. They have a bonfire, swimming pool, a glasswalk - and thats it. Located on a far end of a subdivision, the place is not accessible. Add the fact that there is an entrance fee (about P70) with so little sites to see... not worth it.

This place is rated AAA+++. The pictures really show what this place can give you. The best venue for wedding, Reunion, birtdays and other special events or occasions. It is a little bit pricy as compared with others but you will get what you paid for when you go and experience this place. It is highly recommendable especially with your friends, relatives, officemate's etc., who come to visit Dumaguete....

Nice place with a Greek theme, and a cute little viewing tower that looks like a lighthouse. It was easy to drive here, and the entrance fee was low, so on a clear day I really recommend that you go here for some amazing views. Climbing up the lighthouse was easy, and the stairs and railing felt very safe and well constructed. The outdoor swimming pool looks nice too, although we didn’t try it.

Title: Nice view but not a big area

Kind and smiling staff Nice view Well maintained, except the staircase in the Lighthouse

Entry fee is a little high and only for viewing, if you want to swimming you must pay more

Less shadow places 👎

There are tables and chairs outside the restaurant but no shadow no umbrellas. I am sure there are a lot of people they would only buy a drink and sit a little. The restaurant don't use the potential.

o In fact it's a small viewing point area where you can make photos. After 15-30 minutes you are mostly done.

o The small glass walking way is nothing special

o For the restaurant the best is you make a reservation if you want to visit during the weekend

Explanation of my votings

Pro Contra o Only for your information

5 Stars: It was really special, you must try it 4 Stars: It was nice, you should try it 3 Stars: Nothing special, you could try it 2 Stars: Try only if you have no alternative 1 Stars: Bad, don't bother trying

To understand... Why do I give 5 stars so rarely? Out of over 365 reviews, I realised that there are no businesses that are 100% perfect. I rate businesses in relation to an area, such as a city and the surrounding area. Most businesses in an area sell similar products of different qualities, and I rate these products up to a maximum of 4 stars. Therefore, I decided to give 5 stars if a business in this region has a unique selling point. This could be a unique product, an awesome view, or cosy surroundings that set them apart from other businesses in the area. Even if their products are not perfect, I can still give a five-star rating if there is something spec...

This is only the clubhouse of a nice subdivision so bring an ID as it is required to enter the main gate. There’s also a cafe and glass bridge. The houses are nice and the view is good but it’s not really a tourist place. I’m actually surprised why the subdivision allows anyone to enter and make their clubhouse accessible to tourists. Anyway, it could be a marketing strategy to allow people to see the development. I’d be pissed if Im a...
