The beach, which faces the West Philippine Sea, has dark but fine sands. During our visit the waves are insignificant, but it did not deter the visitors from enjoying their swim. The beach never fails to have people, whether locals or tourists. The beach draws more people as dusk approaches. Like most places on the Philippines west coast, it offers a beautiful view of the sunset. The beach also has cottages where people can take a rest while feeling the fresh air. There are also stores selling light snacks. The police outposts here gives an additional sense of security. One of the features that grab attention is the concrete breakwaters that looked like giant jackstones. These features absorb strong waves before reaching the shore. If you are visiting Vigan, this beach is an ideal side trip destination especially those who want to swim or just wanting to have nature tripping.

This place has a beautiful scenery only at sunset time. The black sand formed by volcanic ash and the waves that break like diamonds in the sunlight are impressive. The blue sky meets the sunset and shows off various colors Tripod and concrete structures are like a forgotten civilization. + Came from Vigan City to Tricycle. (Pay 100 pesos one way. This is expensive. I was looking the comments of this place and we went there. Everything is in construction, they are destroying the beach with this huge walk in construction. Apparently to protect the city, but they could build the wall other way. Also, they said it's a place where they protect the turtles, but I don't know how they can protect turtle bu destroying their environment. Don't waste your time there. They are destroying what it was a beautiful...

This may be an ok place for folks with little or no budget. If you are looking for 3 to 5 star amenities or service, you will not find that here.

With a serious partnership between public and private partners this could be a much more...
