Visited the cove during the Holy Week. And despite the holidays, tourists are fewer than most popular beaches in the country. If you are looking for a place to unwind and detoxify, visit Nagsasa Cove. There is zero signal on the island.
I went there with my family, with 2 kids below 5 yo. Stayed at TIBS campsite, it was okay, the hosts were very accomodating. Their shared toilets and showers could be better, though.

Read moreWe came here on a Friday. Konti pa lang ang mga tao. It really is a nice, quiet place. We have been to Anawangin and Talisayen and I like this place better. May lutuan sa bawat cottage. There is enough space to pitch a tent. We haven't explored the place much but sabi nila, there is a falls and a spot for cliff diving nearby. It's also a perfect place for stargazing.
The folks there are also approachable and friendly. If you go there, I recommend that you bring mosquito repellant...
