Bolong Beach — Attraction in Zamboanga City

Wonderful place to beach off, as “Ken” would say. Cheap shelters to rent and sari sari shops everywhere. We had a blast hanging with our not so little family, floating in the warm ocean waters. There were float tubes available for free nearby. Also a boat ride to the nearby island if you like. We don’t do it our selves.

Bonus mention: these larger shelters came with an impressive Karaoke machine setup. Loud and proud songs to sing 🎤 talent not always...

very accessible. fine sand. large community by the beach. foreshore land exposed during low tide covers a wide area ideal for walking and swimming as the tide comes. also serves as a gateway to the 11 islands. just contact the fishermen with docked bancas at the northern part of the beach. haggle but...
