Lake Maragang Campgrounds — Attraction in Zamboanga del Sur

Do you still remember the iconic scene of K-drama series in ''Crash Landing On You" where our very own Captain Ri (Hyun Bin) was playing the piano at Lake Brienz, Isetwald? This #LakeMaragang reminds me of the lake in Switzerland! If you're a fan of CLOY, this is definitely the spot to come— the heart-shaped crater lake of Mt. Timolan. So quiet and relaxing! Reminds me of the lake in Switzerland where Captain Ri played the piano in Crash Landing on You, but make it tropical lush green. I visited the lake on a daytour. No public transportation going here so I rented a cab. The street is not wide but there’s parking. The hike to the lake from the registration area is around 2 to 3 hours. But you can take a motorbike up to the jump off point so the hike will be less. I opted for the motorbike ride and then hiked for less than an hour to the lake. Some parts the road were unpaved and narrow, so the motorbike ride was so thrilling!!!...

Here are the important details you need to know: Motorcycles are not allowed to go t the lake. You’ll be renting out a habal from the local—which are employed by the municipal tourism. You’ll find out the reason why private motorcycles are not allowed to go up there.

Bring foods that are consumable for your entire stay. Walang Tindahan sa taas though there are some equipments there that can be use for cooking.
