Nothing special about a Sandbar that's completely covered up till around 10AM. Get there according to local drivers schedule , and be prepared to wait till then or fight the strong currents till the in waist deep water. Seeing how there's nothing to do or anywhere to go to get out of the intense sun. You'll be eating in the boat. Bring everything you need because there's absolutely nothing there to purchase. My wife's family prepared our meals to bring with us. But bring a lot of Ice. Not your norm. It's extremely hot and you'll be needing sunscreen, hats , and sunglasses.
