Lake Rożnów — Attraction in gmina Łososina Dolna

Lovely place! I think we were lucky in that it wasn't full of people given that this was a long weekend. But such a nice place to go. Even better if you're a yachter, paddleboarder or even swimmer. Good, small beach area. Warm water. Very reasonable couple of food bars. Recommended YES! Nearby is, of course, the Rożnów Hydroelectric dam.

One thing to say, though, is that your enjoyment of this lake will depend on which part you see it from. If you go to the lake from Rożnów itself, from the Rożnów dam, all will be good. BUT if you go there from Gródek nad Dunajcem, you'll be sorry! From THAT place you won't enjoy it, AND still only have access to it by paying a scandalous 12zł "entrance fee" to the beach. Nice spot, but not for swimming. There is like two entrance with parking to the water, more like place for camping. You need to pay 12 zł for entrance to the water, but it is muddy more than sandy. They return you back if you go for the boat. I recommend to take a boat ⛵ one or two ways across the lake. It is fun. Also it is a great place if you have your own motor boat, or yacht. Miejsce mogłoby być piękne i idealne na odpoczynek ale niestety takie nie jest. Woda brudna, pływające śmieci, plaża pozostawia wiele do życzenia (trochę piasku, trochę trawy). W sezonie letnim za wejście trzeba zapłacić i bywa tłoczno. Ceny za rowerki wodne są po prostu duże a do tego kaucja 100 zł. Poza sezonem ciężko dostać się do jeziora przez zamknięte ogrodzenie. Okolica ładna, lasy dookoła ale nic poza tym. Małe zaplecze gastronomiczne i zaledwie jeden sklep lewiatan. Zapuszczone jest jezioro obecnie, nikt nie sprząta na bieżąco i z roku na rok wygląda to coraz gorzej. Z jakością wody chyba jest słabo ale ja osobiście nie weszłabym do...
