Białowieża National Park Bison Demonstration Reserve is situated on the road connecting Białowieża with Hajnówka. In the reserve, in conditions close to natural, there are bison, Polish Tarpan horses, elk, red deer, roe deer, wild boars, bison (a cross between a bison and domestic cattle), wolves and a lynx. The demonstration reserve is a significant tourist attraction, it also serves the natural education of schoolchildren visiting Białowieża. Read moreWorths the visit if you want to make sure you see bisons. Animals are kept in relativeli large areas, which may still not be the same as in the wild for them, but often makes it impossible for us to see them (but it is how zoos are)... It is true that it lacks facilities like buffet or at least drinking wells for visitors, and I don't remember seeing any information tables about the animals. (In English especially not) There is a little exhibition at the entrance though. All in all, it is still a pleasant place to take a walk and worths the price if you want to see...
