We visited this place today. After a slightly sketchy start (discovering they don’t provide towels or even have any to rent) we actually had a very nice time. The whole place is cashless and so you use your wristband to pay for any extras once you’re in - sauna access, food etc. You then pay on exit for the balance.
We spent the majority of our time in the sauna area which is adult only and very chilled. It’s a traditional sauna area so expect to be naked for this part. Here a towel is provided but you can’t take it out of the sauna area.
We tried 2 of the outdoor pools, the bottom one of which is lovely and warm, especially when it’s -10 outside like today. In order to dry off as best we could without towels we spent our last 1/2 hour in the restaurant. You can either by food by weight as is common in Poland or there is also a small selection of pizzas for around 30 PLN. We opted for the pizza that was pretty decent.
All in all we had a nice time. The place was spotlessly clean and staff friendly. It would benefit from having a towel rental service and perhaps a few helpful signs in other languages - if you’re going to have Russian and English on the website then reflecting that in the actual venue seems a reasonable...
Read moreIt’s a great complex with quite a few pools both inside and outside. The view outside is beautiful. The massage spots are occupied rather fast, so if you want to use the spots outside, it might take some time/effort. Please, note there is an inside pool on the 2nd floor as well (close to the cafe). There is no elevator for people with special needs. Also I’d say that there are not so many sun beds outside. We have visited several pool complexes in the area and I can say this one had the fewest people and it was even possible to swim around some! There was only one disadvantage that spoilt positive impressions- the cafe on the upper floor… All trays were dirty, you could see how they used one cloth to wipe them off and it left pieces of food and such on many trays. Quite unpleasant, so you wonder if the food was cooked the same way- in a dirty kitchen… So my suggestion is to eat elsewhere not there! All in all, if we forget cafe experience, the pool complex is really nice! For the lockers you need to put your watch to the computer screen, it’ll show the number, the lock takes several seconds to open, you need to push the door in to open it (it took some time to figure!) All in all, our visit was...
Read moreI don’t recommend this place. Overall, what is left of the attempt of having a relaxing day at the thermal baths is the feeling of having overspent. Yes, the cashless system is convenient. Sure.. the water is nice and warm - also outside - but by no means is it hot or does it deserve the term “thermal”. And for delivering the bare minimum, prices are VERY steep. Additionally, the sauna can only be accessed for an extra charge. While you might argue that this will keep the crowds out, it feels ridiculous to pay an extra fee on top of a premium price tag. The money-grabbing mentality doesn’t stop at the buffet, where not especially well-prepared and tasty food (food is usually always incredibly tasty after a day at the pool) is charged at a 5,90 zł / 100g rate. When comparing the amount of food on your plate with the actual bill, even here the feeling of a wrongly calibrated scale is clinging on to the aftertaste. I love thermal baths, but this just takes the fun out of every pore. As there are alternatives available, I will be looking for another place next time and I suggest you do the same before making the same...
