Wielka Siklawa — Attraction in gmina Bukowina Tatrzańska

A very beautiful hike but beware - if you go too early in the summer (we went at the end of May when it was 21⁰C) you won't be able to get over the mountain to the lakes easily via the green or black routes. We were told this would be a very easy hike and it was wonderful to begin with (following the green route up to the lakes) but then we couldn't get over the mountains because it was covered in snow and ice. You should be advised this when entering the park. You need crampons and walking sticks ideally. We were very sad we couldn't make it to the lakes. A magical place. It's very beautiful, and even though it is already gorgeous on the pictures I recommend seeing it yourself. A great reward after a long hike, I wasn't even mad it started raining shortly after. The trails are all prepared veeeery well, and the hike is possible even with not so good weather. Absolute must see for all hikers....
