Biebrza National Park — Attraction in gmina Goniądz

I totally fell in love with this place. The forest is trully picturesque. There is a road going straight through it and you can find a few places where you can stop and have a stroll or just rest. There's also a restaurant+hotel in the middle of the park (by the road). If you're driving a car it's honestly better to go slow... the road is narrow and has speed breakers (if you go too fast there are chances you'll break your car). Also, wild animals, especially moose, can run on the road. We were there 4 times already and saw a moose just by the road (trully a magnificient creature!). Phone reception is rather poor in the forest area so avoid getting lost or take a paper...

We took the 29 km hike. It was nice, but some of the places were flooded and hard to pass because there is high grass, also there is no place to fill up water, so we needed to ask locals to give us some. Saw some beautiful birds. Camping is pretty good it has shower and warm water during the evening. Person who collects money comes in the morning around 8 am. Only accept cash though People at the info centre were really friendly and spoke...

Park jak to Park, żeby zobaczyć coś ciekawego, trzeba by zaczaić się przed świtem, lub tuż przed zmierzchem, jednak wg. regulaminu tej instytucji jest to niedozwolone (nie wolno przebywać na terenie Parku po zmierzchu i przed świtem). Efekt- więcej dzikiej zwierzyny można zaobserwować jadąc nocą samochodem, przez rejon Pisz-Szczytno-Olsztynek (jednej nocy: 2 Łosie, Kilka Jeleni, Kilka Saren, Rodzina Jenotów, Lis, o Dziku nie wspominając). Chociaż istnieje tam infrastruktura - to jej obiekty tkwią od przynajmniej 20 lat w tych samych miejscach, a prowadzona gospodarka spowodowała zmiany w ekosystemie - przykładem niech będzie kładka na Czerwonym Bagnie (po zaprzestaniu ścinki turzowiska wszystko zarosło brzozą i trzciną, a więc nie stanowi jakiejkolwiek atrakcji), czy pozarastane drzewami wieże widokowe. Rejon nadaje się co prawda świetnie na wycieczki rowerowe i piesze, ale nie widzę sensu płacenia 12 złotych za wstęp do Parku, skoro są piękne miejsca w naszym kraju, w których nikt nie...
