Pałac w Wolsztynie — Attraction in gmina Wolsztyn

W ładnym angielskim parku nad jeziorem Wolsztyńskim znajduje się zbudowany w 1845 roku w stylu neorenesansowym Pałac Wolsztyn. W roku 1911 pałac został przebudowany na styl neoklasyczny. Front pałacu zdobi ładny klasycystyczny portyk wsparty na jońskich kolumnach. W roku 1945 został spalony a odbudowany w latach 60-tych XX wieku. Zrekonstruowano bryłę i fasady ale nie zachowano zabytkowych wnętrz. Znajdował się w nim Dom Turysty PTTK, a obecnie jest restaurowany przez nowego właściciela. In a beautiful English park on Wolsztyn Lake, the Neo-Renaissance palace of Wolsztyn was built in 1845. In 1911 the palace was rebuilt into a neoclassical style. The front of the palace is decorated with a nice classicistic portico supported by Ionic columns. In 1945 it was burned and rebuilt in the 1960s. A historic palace that served as a hotel and restaurant. Due to incompetence of local authorities now it's abandoned and decaying. A wasted opportunity...

Kann den Ort Wolsztyn sehr empfehlen, schon wegen dem Wirken von Robert Koch und dem musealen Dampflok Bahnbetriebswerk. Nur schade das es das Hotel im Palac w Wolstztynie nicht mehr gibt. Ich hatte die Gelegenheit mehrmals, ich glaube bis 2011 dort sehr gut zu...
