Inowrocławska tężnia solankowa usytuowana jest w Parku Solankowym. Jej budowa rozpoczęła się w 1994 roku, a ostateczne otwarcie nastąpiło w roku 2001. Ma ona kształt dwóch połączonych ze sobą wieloboków o łącznej długości 300 metrów i 9 metrów wysokości. Jest drugą co do wielkości tężnią w Polsce oraz trzecią z racji chronologii powstania. Konstrukcja obiektu składa się z drewna i gałęzi tarniny, po której spływa solanka doprowadzana za pomocą pomp. Następnie jest ona odparowywana, tworząc w najbliższym otoczeniu leczniczy aerozol. W skład owej solanki wchodzą - oprócz znanej wszystkim soli (chlorek sodu) - jony siarczanowe i chlorkowe, żelazo, cynk, magnez oraz wapń. Wytworzony w ten sposób mikroklimat wykorzystywany jest zarówno w profilaktyce, jak i leczeniu wielu schorzeń. Są to przede wszystkim schorzenia górnych dróg oddechowych, nadciśnienia tętniczego, rozedmy płuc, alergii czy reumatologii. W pobliżu tężni w ostatni weekend lipca organizowana jest coroczna "Inowrocławska Noc Solannowa". Jest to koncert z udziałem Grzegorza Turnaua i zaproszonych przez niego artystów. Jest to niejako podróż sentymentalna do czasów dzieciństwa, którego dużą część artysta spędził w Inowrocławiu u swojej babci.
