Railway Museum in Kościerzyna — Attraction in Kościerzyna

Why for so many years no wisemen in the Polish State Railways PKP did not come with idea to build a foor bridge from the railway building over the railways directly to the Railway Museum?! It is appealing that railway men do not bother about time and comfort of the visitors (especially wit kids) who came by train to Koscierzyna. Why to visit a facility which is just 5-6 railway crossings away i must walk around ca. 2km and...

Railway musea are scarce in Poland. This museum consist of a great number of old locomotives, but most of them are in a terrible condition. All is displayed very static, no activities whatsoever. If you like old locos a visit can be nice, but your children need more activity so the stay will be short... Nice exhibit: former Berlin S bahn trainset which has served in the Trimiasto...

We took the kids here for a day out - the eldest is a fan of trains (he's 3) - and we were all in our element. The trains were great to look at and, in some instances, get into.
