Not the largest of waterfalls on European scale, but nice. You are offered a helmet losely held by a thin, impossible to adjust string and without any head covering hygiene nets. Worn out old and sweat smelling helmets. Tickets are sold by CASH Only. No earlier notice so if no cash on you, no enter. Sorry, walk back down 15 mins, drive another 10 mins and get some from the ATM, then come back again. Oh and if you happen to buy the ticket 13 minutes before the official close time, you will enter just to be hurried out so they can close the gate for the day. Sorry. Happy to take your money, but you should have known we are closing in 13 mins. (even if you speak Polish). Additionally, the grates you walk on over the rivers are very slippery in some sections, because someone forgot the place sections vertically, so they actually prevent slippage as apposed to enhancing it. So watch out for sections which are layed out incorrectly. It was my 2nd time there in 6 months to take some winter pictures, but the same dangerous mistake is still there. Nature and sorroundings 5 stars. Service, equipment and the actual road...

Once you arrive there, there is a cashier where we queued up for at least half an hour in the middle of May on a rainy day. Once you get in (with a helmet which I consider completely useless), there is a path (maybe 150 M long) above the creek which leads you to the waterfalls. It's full of people everywhere.
Maybe it's good for people on a wheelchair or seniors who wouldn't be able to get there otherwise but if your expectation is a hike you will be...
Read moreThis was an easy 3 km hike from Szklarska Poręba mostly through forested area and mostly uphil, uneven stoney path. Elevation hanged about 200 meters. 16 PLN adult entrance fee. You get a helmet and off you go. The waterfall is beautiful. You can also go to see it from the top. There is a tall fence to protect people from falling down but otherwise the view is as stunning as from the bottom and it's for free. You can get souvenirs and refreshments up there too. Payment cards are being accepted everywhere. Recommending this experience to everyone! Go and be...
