The waterfall is amazing! Defenetly worth the visit! You can choose between two options if you wanna get there . The first and easiest (and less beautiful) way is from the car park take a taxi wich is going down to the waterfall.
The second option is start your trip from the car park next to the road ( wich is going down) you will find the Levada walks. Just follow it and you will find the first waterfall after 1,5 hours normal walking. Third quarter of this walk way you can find a tourist rout wich is going down to the Risco Waterfall. The rout is not so hard with a normal strength is easy to complete it.

Read moreOne of the most impressive things on the island. Since we did not have much time to do the entire walk we took a bus from Rabacal parking down to the cafe. Bus operates from 10-18:30 I think, and the return ticket is 5€. It leaves every 20 minutes. Once you are there it is a short walk, maybe 30-40 minutes to the waterfall, and it is something else. Luckily I had a drone to capture both waterfalls, but even without it, it was amazing.
