For the hikers out there, this is a great place to park and hike down the Valley. This is somewhat midway on the Trilla das Vinhas which is the valley trail starting in Quinta do Pisao and ending in Cascais. Some very beautiful scenery from the look out points.

There is a small childrens park right at this pin point, but the trail is further down the mountain. Small parking area available.

There are two ways to get down to the valley. One is take the wooden staircase, the other is to follow the winding path down. For those not so good on the stairs take the latter.

Parque Urbano das Penhas do Marmeleiro is a wonderful place for relaxation and peace. The location is also quite convenient, especially from Cascais, not too far and definitely worth the visit.

If I could suggest one thing, it would be to improve the public transportation access, as it would make getting there even easier for more people.
