Very cool local museum about the history of textiles in the region. Joao was very friendly and happy to converse with us in English. He is highly knowledgeable. Recommend calling a couple of days in advance so that he can arrange the machines to be running when you arrive. Great for kids and adults alike and only 1 euro to enter. Well worth a stop if in the region. Remember, lunchtime is generally 1300 to 1430, so most museums are closed...

One of the most interesting working museums I have visited. You should know that this museum is work in progress but the curator has such a vast wealth of knowledge, he is able to explain the details which are not obvious, when looking at the machinary. Tivemos a oportunidade de ter uma visita guiada onde aprendemos imenso e nos divertimos ainda mais.
