Amazing place designated for avian conservation. LPN does amazing job with integrating conservation and public awareness. People from all over Europe visit the center for spotting a wide range of species. They’ve done great work with the recovery of Kestrels and Bustards. Rita in particular has great vision and mission. Great location for birds / wildlife, but the centre itself is a bit disappointing, as it seems to lack much ‘enthusiasm’, and would benefit greatly from a bit of initiative and ‘spark’. Appelé " Steppe", ce parc est un excellent lieu de promenade pour les passionnés d'ornithologie. On peut y marcher au calme avec la chance de voir une perdrix, des faucons ou des cochevis. Malheureusement certains chemins sont fermés car les prairies sont occupées par le bétail. Personne au bureau pour nous renseigner et le site est très mal signalé. Lonely Planet indique que l'accès est possible depuis l'IP2, c'est faux, il faut rentrer dans le village de Castro Verde et trouver le premier panneau indicateur pour suivre ensuite un chemin carrossable sur...
