Our favourite Olhao beach. A short ferry ride and you dock into another world. A sun-filled beach-life relaxed world. A short walk drom the ferry bearing left takes you to the lighthouse beach. We were lucky and got the last 4 sunbeds, 50 euros. We had a lovely day before getting the ferry back at 4pm. The ferry there was busy, the ferry back was full and not all got on. Leaving some to get the next one at 6:15pm. So keep this in mind when you head home. The beach is huge, the sea is crystal clear and its simply lovely, as it does but feel busy. Such a great atmosphere.

Totally mesmerized with the preserved nature and habitation, not to forget the beach and the ocean you see till your line of sight. A rejuvenating experience. Never forgetting those memories from a solo trip. Must recommend a detour to lagoons if you're visiting Faro. Dated January 2019.

Lovely beach, you can take the ferry from Olhao to get here! (There are also ferries to Culatra - same island - and to Armona). There's basically unlimited space to swim around and you can bathe in solitude if you walk a bit further! There are also cafes/bars on the beach (cash only) and the beach is a short (5-10mins) walk away from the ferry port! You'll walk across a lovely holiday town with...
