Beautiful section of beach with a small bar that hires out sun loungers . You can also just sit down on chairs and order snacks and drinks. The sea is best when it's low tide as you can walk out quite far in shallow water. It's worth walking up to the lighthouse to explore that area as well . The ferry goes to both locations and there is a walk that you can do to the other side of the island and then walk down the beach by the estuary . No matter what you do you'll...

Very nice beach, not many people which allows for private beaching. You might have to walk a lot from the boat but it is worth it. The water here is the warmest I have experienced in Algarve and so so clear. Also there are almost no tides and you can walk a long time before you have to swim so it's great for kids or people who can't swim as well. The only downside is that if it's windy it's very uncomfortable so I strongly suggest you check...

I didn’t expect to be in paradise, I thought that the best beaches I ever saw were in Venezuela but Algarve surprise me with this national park. On this beach, if you planning to be the entire day you need to bring your food and drink, umbrellas and all facilities make you happy on the beach as this island is still virgin and don’t have those facilities. I suggest visitor spend time on...

This is a wonderful place to visit! The water is not very warm but the landscape makes up for it. The island is self-sustaining. You won’t see cars there and it is eco-friendly. You can get a ferry from Olhão which will cost you around €5 for a return ticket. Do not miss the chance to stop by the warding winning local patisserie. Simply delicious 😀
