Absolute hole tbh. Was once probably really nice, but now it's just full of shops selling cheap tat and Indian men harassing you trying to drag you in to empty restaurants as you and your family walk by. To top it off we stopped for a quick drink at CASA NOSTRA at the bottom of the escalator as we were trying to get out of there, where the waiter tried to scam us out of 50 euro! We had 4 drinks and when I asked for the bill he said "50 euro" even though I challenged him he insisted it was 50 euros, it wasn't until we started adding up the costs ourselves he winked and showed me the bill and it was 20 euros. I wonder how many people just pay whatever they say? We expected it to be chilled and classy, but it's literally the exact opposite. Just another place looking to fleece tourists at whatever cost.

Easily reached by car, there is also a bus connection that runs once an hour. A wide Area of beach. There is a beach with less waved and wind on the land facing side of the island. In addition there are two soccer fields (concrete and sand), two surf schools and many kiosk's.

Absolutely Stunning Sunsets in Algarve. I highly recommend visiting this spot for breathtaking sunset views. The Algarve coastline offers some of the most mesmerizing sunsets you’ll ever see. Pro tip: Arrive at least 1.5 hours before sunset to avoid traffic on the bridge.

One of the most overlooked places on the Algarve miles of soft white sand never busy there is allway's a quiet part of the islands which stretch for more than five miles. Many cafe's are for the locals so you don't pay tourist prices but you have to walk a little to find them. Open all year round, we have had a barbecue on boxing day with a dozen people and ten...

A really nice beach that can be found if you walk down to the east side of the urban area. And continue on the boardwalk for approximately a kilometer until you reach the east side. Very open to the elements and a lot of people use this area for kitesurfing and other sports away from...
