Praia da Fuseta-Ria (Mainland Beach)

Situated adjacent to the harbor of Fuseta, Praia da Fuseta-Ria is easily accessible on foot and is particularly popular among families. The calm and shallow waters of the Ria Formosa lagoon make it ideal for children and less confident swimmers. Facilities here include lifeguards, restrooms, showers, and nearby restaurants.

Accessible via a short ferry ride or water taxi, Praia da Fuseta-Mar is located on a barrier island facing the Atlantic Ocean. The beach boasts fine white sand and clear waters, offering a more secluded experience compared to its mainland counterpart.

It's important to check the current ferry and water taxi schedules, as they may...

Superb beach. Best one we visited this week. Get there by a ferry every few minutes from Fuseta (cost 6 Euros for a family of 5). Sandy beach with a nice slope so it gets deep enough for swimming without having to wade. A beach bar for coffees and ice cream etc and umbrella hire (but enty of space outside of the concessioned area to do...

The seaside beach is great, really special. Mind that you have to take a boat to get there or otherwise just stay on the Ria side - children safe but not so nice! The small village is now too crowded during most summer months and it is quite difficult to find a place to eat where you do not have to queue and waaait for your...
