We stopped by this lovely winery on our way from Vilamoura to Lisbon and had an amazing experience. The staff was all very attentive and made us feel at home. The scenery is beautiful and the tasting room was cozy. The tasting room attendant even took our kids out in the vineyards to see the grapes. Living in California and being surrounded by so many award wining wines, we had never had the chance to experience Portuguese wines. It was interesting to see how some varietals are available in California and how some grapes are specific to the region. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area. My only advice is to bring some food and snacks with you if you end up staying several hours like we did.

Absolutly lovely vinyards and winery , a peaceful location with great hosts , we were invited to attend an event on the friday evening and had an absolutly wonderfal time , the bar prices were extremly reasonable and the food plates were lovely , we had a free glass of wine with goats cheese olives and bread on arrival which was a lovely touch , if i could give it 6 stars i would have

What a delightful visit! This vineyard is just off the beaten path but well worth the visit. We made a quick call in advance and Hugo accommodated our party of four adults and four kids very graciously. The wine is outstanding and there is also a surprising assortment of distilled liquor and olive oil... After this we may be shipping cases to the USA forever!
