Visited the Parque, having seen good reviews. Just happened to be the first day of the season and seemed to be quiet. Most activity was at the picnic/BBQ area. Families/couples enjoying the shade at it was rather a hot day. 26°c upwards in mid-April. We decided to walk some of the lake paths, which can be tricky under foot in places. Except for one dog walker, we found ourselves alone in this. No one seemed to be swimming, so after a short time, we returned to our car and headed for lunch in Ferraguda and then to the beach. A beautiful picnic area that we have visited for over 20 years to listen to the famous frogs that make unbelievable noises. This year 2022 we were heartbroken to see the water no longer ran and these wonderful frogs no longer existed here. Go there for a picnic where barbecue grills, shaded areas with benches are provided. But we were lucky to see and hear the now gone frogs. So So sad. All because of river...

Very nice park indeed. It is good for an all day outing as it has a very good barbecue area and shaded seating. Public rest rooms are clean but not wheelchair friendly.
