Based on my experience, i would not go back here, not because the place is bad but because of the issues i encountered. I was there on Friday, 12.04.24, and Monday, 15.04.24, as part of my jet2holiday booking in alvor baia Resort Hotel. Friday went without issue but on Monday i bought a water tight plastic and put my phone in it cos i wanted to capture my ride on the slide. The sign had a 📷 that was only allowed if hanging from the neck or ( can't rem the other condition). I was told i could not use my phone as it was not a camera, but after arguing with the attendant abt that,i was allowed and as i came off, this guy that was a manager or some sort of position met me and told me,in a harsh manner, that i can't use my phone or i will be escorted out by security.I didn't want any issue so i put my phone away when i had to do other slides. But the real situation was the shuttle back to my hotel. On friday,we were dropped at the right bus stop but monday when the driver( same driver on friday) stopped( this is my first time in Portugal)i went to him and asked" is this the stop to alvor baia resort hotel ?" Cos the stop didn't look familiar from friday,he nodded. I alighted with my daughter. We then discovered that the nearby hotel was tivolli Alvôr and not ours. That was how my daughter and i were walking around for almost 15mins in the hot sun, lost, exhausted, panicked and asking for directions from anyone we saw. We were fortunate that our shuttle bus driver from alvor beach, saw us asking someone for directions with the hotel leaflet and turned and picked us up enroute to picking up guests from the beach.I made a complaint to the jet2holiday representative at the hotel.

Visited on Saturday 28th July with my family. The gates opened at 10am, I suggest getting there before this time to make the most of the little queues as people are still coming in. The lockers are €15, you get €10 when you return the receipt and key at the end of the day. The slides were great fun, lots of unique and varied attractions. Perhaps the queuing areas could do with some more covering/shelter as it gets very hot waiting and carrying rafts. The only ride we had an issue with was Tornado. Me and my dad went in a double tire and got stuck in the middle of the dome, in an area where there was no water flowing. Multiple people got sent down after us, each one crashing into us whilst we were stuck, which suggests the lifeguards had no idea what was going on in this dome part of the slide. We both had to stand up out of the tire to push the tire, and then jump back in before we went down the final tube. Our other family members at the bottom had told the lifeguard, along with other people who had crashed into us too, that we were stuck and he didn’t do anything, he didn’t tell the lifeguard sending people down the slide via walk-talkie to stop either. Despite this, we still had a good day. The water walkways around the park are a really good idea, I’d still suggest wearing water shoes. Some of the body slides go really slow and you end up getting stuck somewhere in the middle, perhaps they could send more water down the slides to push you along a bit? We ate lunch at the Pizzeria which was really nice. Overall we had a really good day!

We went here on a family day out when we were staying nearby. It started off as quite a gloomy day and the wind made it quite cold initially, although the sun quickly burned through the clouds about mid day.
The water park itself is fantastic! It's ideally suited for both kids and adults with areas for young kids that include a whole assortment of climbing frames, slides and more. For older kids and adults there is a whole range of different slides and pools to explore and plenty to do that will keep you entertained while you are there.
I really liked the fact that there was a little channel of water that acted as a path around the whole park. This simple but great idea helped a lot after the sun had been out for a while, beating down on the paths and making them extremely hot and uncomfortable to walk on in your bare feet.
The food was surprisingly reasonably priced with the standard affair of burgers, hot dogs, chips and chicken wings. With a captured audience most of these types of places try to rip you off. Although you can still bring your own food.
They also have birds of prey and lizards that you can get a photo with, as well as a show hidden away at the back of the park.
There tend to be staff wandering about most of the time snapping pictures. This is fine and they take some great pics, although charging 10 Euro a photograph is pretty steep, especially when you are likely to have quite a few kids with you.

Bought 4 tickets online for €108 and that gets you entry and access to all slides. It did not includes any seating, parasols or food and drinks.
We arrived 20 mins early and joined a reasonable queue.
Gates opened 5 mins early and people poured in to find best patch of grass to place towels and parasols for the day.
If you then immediately start getting to the slides you'll get in a good few rides but the longer you wait, the greater the queues.
The day we went, it was busy but we were still able to enjoy almost every slide with no longer than about a 12 mins wait..tops.
In 5 hours, kids had had multiple goes on multiple slides and we left at 2.30 with the place looking very busy and people still turning up.
You can hire parasols, lockers and even separate areas with deck chairs, recliners and shade but it costs a lot.
Food and snacks available but pack your own otherwise expect long queues and hefty prices.
I did it for the kids. For me, it's too busy and after an hour, the grass areas were completely covered with towels and no inch was spare.
There are reviews here which clearly indicate just how rammed the place can get so even though the place was very busy, it can get considerably worse and unbearable for many.

We love the waterslides and the park is amazing. The grass is nice, the music is good, the announcements from the speakers are in English, the staff speaks English, the birds show was in English because they asked who English.
Regarding the staff crew from the restaurant, they spoke English but the experience was extremely bad. They came with our order back from the kitchen while screaming to other employees, didn't care about us waiting for our order.
The food was good but way to expensive. I encourage other people to bring their own food and drinks. A hot dog you could buy at Ikea for 1 euro cost 8.50 there including a drink and some fries.
The staff members at the end of the park were nice but didn't talk, nor said goodbye after we rejected the photos they took from us at the end of the day. All the other staff members at the slides didn't talk, looked kinda annoyed but were okay. The staff members from the birds show were very friendly like mentioned earlier.
Regarding covid, each family group has their own square (2.5mx2.5m or so, marked with with lines) and only face masks needed for eating areas.
